Rainbow-OS features:
- Subsecond startup and recovery
The start of a modern operating system should not be measured in minutes - as many systems today do -
but in seconds or less. Rainbow-OS starts it's cluster nodes (after the BIOS initialisation) in about
200 ms. The same time is used in case of a failure when the reset of a node is needed. Whereas other
commercial systems for recovery work in ranges of a quarter of a hour up to complete hours.
